Mocha Latte wo background

Here is the finished version of my first digital piece. I am really proud on how this turned out. She is just soooo cute~

Mocha's Bio:

Name: Mocha Latte
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Height: Tall. Around the same height as Cadence
Weight: That's a secret
Special Talent: making a delicious cup of java, but she is also a skilled musician. (She like to play jazz and classical)

Personality: Mocha is a kind pony who is soft-spoken and polite. That said, if you somehow do make her angry, she will not hesitate to tell you. Mocha hates confrontation, but can and will lay a verbal smackdown if provoked.

Likes: Coffee, her friends, Jazz and Classical music.

Dislikes: Mean ponies, Pumpkin, Ponies who bring up 'The Incident'

Magic: She hasn't really focused on learning much magic, beyond the basics she learned in school, she only focused on her levitation skills. She is rather talented in that aspect, being able to multi-task several things at once. She has a few others, like a warming spell and a cleaning one. But that's about it.

Back-story: Born in Manehatten, she grew up in her families restaurant. After tinkering around with some drinks in the kitchen one day as a filly, she brewed up a coffee that used chocolate as a base. After seeing the positive reactions from those who drank it, her Cutie Mark appeared and she reveled in cheering ponies up with her delicious drinks. After graduating school, her parents gave her a gift, a nice sum of bits to open her own shop wherever she liked.

She decided on Canterlot and moved there shortly after. She opened a cafe and named it the 'Daily Grind'. A place where ponies could come and relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. (Also a nice play on words since she had to grind coffee^^)

One day, she met a quiet, giant of a stallion. A massive beast by the name of Ironhoof. He'd travelled from the far north to hone his blacksmithing skills with a local Master that Mocha knew well. It was almost love at first sight, and the mare fell horn over hooves for him. He was softspoken, gentle despite his massive size and a good listener. 

It was not meant to be however, as the stallion left to continue his journey early one morning, without so much as a goodbye. While he'd meant not to hurt her, it did. And she spent several months suffering from a deep depression. Her heart had been broken and it affected her special talent, the ability to make a special brew. One that let a pony relive a fond memory, to heal a broken heart or a sense of loss. Unfortunately, her ability does not work on herself.

It was only due to several close friends that she was able to start moving forward again. She set out to find the stallion and get answers, only to have him return as part of his work. The two eventually talked things out and came to an understanding. The stallion had a family now, one he loved. But he owed that to Mocha, the mare that taught him how to love in the first place. 

She still runs that cafe in Canterlot, bringing joy to others and hoping that one day, she'll meet her destined pony and have a family of her own...
